Who we are

Adapt Systems is the trading name of Barbell Ventures, Lda., a company based in Portugal. This policy covers data collected through adapt-systems.com. For any privacy question, contact hello@adapt-systems.com.

What we collect

When you submit a form on this site (a feasibility-opinion request, webinar registration, or similar), we collect what you enter: name, work email, company, role, source platform and version, rough scale, timing, and any other field you fill in. We also automatically collect standard website analytics: pages visited, referrer, approximate location, device/browser type, and — where present — UTM campaign parameters and Google Click ID (GCLID).

We do not ask for or accept source code, credentials, or production data through any website form.

Why we collect it

  • To respond to your enquiry. Form submissions are used to assess fit and follow up — this is the entire purpose of the form.
  • To understand site usage and campaign performance. Analytics data helps us see which pages and campaigns are working.

Our legal basis for processing enquiry data is your consent, given when you check the consent box on a form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries directed at us. Our legal basis for basic analytics is legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of processors to run this site and follow up on enquiries:

  • Google Analytics (GA4) — website analytics. Data may be processed by Google outside the EEA under Google's standard contractual safeguards.
  • Vercel — hosting for this website and its serverless functions.
  • Our CRM — form submissions are stored in our internal CRM so a human can follow up. It is not used for automated decision-making.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for as long as it's relevant to a possible or active business relationship, and deleted or anonymized when it's clearly no longer needed. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

Your rights

If you're in the EEA, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar protections, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or stop processing your data, or ask for a copy of it. Email hello@adapt-systems.com and we'll respond directly — there's no automated request portal today given the size of the team.

Cookies

This site uses cookies/local storage for basic analytics (Google Analytics) and to remember campaign attribution (UTM parameters, Google Click ID) between pages, so a lead-generating campaign gets credited correctly. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set beyond what Google Analytics itself uses.

We'll update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
